The Whiteside County Health Department on Sunday announced five new cases of COVID-19. New cases involved three people in their 30s as well as a person under 20 and a person in their 60s.
Lee, Ogle and Carroll counties did not report updated statistics on Sunday.
Whiteside County has had 704 cases and 20 COVID-related deaths. Lee County has had 321 cases, 264 recoveries and one death. Ogle County has had 629 cases, 551 recoveries and six deaths. Carroll County has had 214 cases, 195 recoveries and four deaths.
Illinois announced 1,402 new cases and 14 additional deaths Sunday. The state has had 274,258 cases and 8,450 deaths.
Sterling has had 3,294 tests and 250 positive cases. Rock Falls has had 1,758 tests and 122 cases. Dixon has had 4,828 tests and 234 cases. Rochelle has had 3,249 tests and 300 cases.
