The Dixon Family YMCA swimming pool will reopen Monday for lap swimming; the Sterling Park District Duis Center swimming pool opened Thursday, for lap swimming and water walking.
The Prophetstown Park District wading pool, 410 W. Riverside Drive, also reopens Monday.
Under Phase 3 of the Restore Illinois plan, pools can be used only for lap swimming, diving, swimming lessons, swim team practices and therapy.
Also according to the Phase 3 guidelines, facilities screen and take temperatures of employees and customer upon entrance to the facility and again at mid-shift for employees. Face masks are required when not swimming.
Swim times at the Dixon Family YMCA, 110 N. Galena Ave., are limited to 45 minutes; Monday's sessions run from 6 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., with a half-hour break after each session. Only four swimmers will be allowed in the pool at a time.
Swimmers are asked to come dressed prepared to swim.

In Sterling, 1-hour adult lap swimming sessions at Duis, 211 E. 23rd St., are held from 5:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. and from 10:45 to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Water walking is from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, and Saturday's lap swimming sessions are from 9:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Ten people at a time are allowed, and sessions cost $2 an hour.

The Prophetstown pool will be available in June for members and those who have punch cards only.
Sessions of 1 hour and 30 minutes each will run from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, with 30 minutes for cleaning to follow each session. Only five people are allowed in the pool during each session.
