LocalLit: Resources from libraries in Will County

So I didn't quite finish the book I was planning to review this week.

But I do have a reading recommendation.

Right now libraries in Will County are offering a number of resource virtually. Follow the links to check out the various resources.

Fountaindale Public Library District

Click "learn more" at the top of the page to access online resources. Visit fountaindale.org.

Frankfort Public Library District

Its website says, "Browse our website’s eBooks and More & Library App pages for information about checking out digital materials and use the Gale courses link at the bottom of our home page to start your online class."

New Lenox Public Library

Some of the offerings include a 30-day digital card for people who don't have a card.

Features include eBooks, audio books and digital magazines; online resources and resources for teachers.

Joliet Public Library

Download eBooks, listen to audio books, stream movies and TV shows, read magazines.

Plainfield Public Library District

Go to the block on the home page that says "Coronavirus (COVID-19) Library Update" for resources to streaming and downloadable collections.

Shorewood-Troy Public Library

The library is offering temporary cards so patrons can access digital resources. For details, visit shorewoodtroylibrary.org.

Three Rivers Public Library District (Channahon and Minooka)

White Oak Library District (Crest Hill, Lockport, Romeoville)

Find and check out eBooks, research topics with online data base and explore community resources.

Each week LocalLit will deliver an original short and family-friendly story or book review by a local author to the newsletter’s subscribers.

Stories should be edited and between 1,000 and 7,500 words. Featured authors will be spotlighted before the newsletter runs.
