Six people were injured and transported to an Aurora hospital and a juvenile charged with driving under the influence at 6:13 a.m. April 18 after their vehicle went off the road on Plainfield Road north of Oswego Plains Drive in unincorporated Oswego Township and rolled over, according to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.

In a press release, police said Michael E. Piatek, 19, of the 2000 block of Wilson Creek Circle, Aurora; Tyreonne J. Shepard, 18, of the 1000 block of Market Place Drive, Yorkville; Barkiest T. Bradford, 18, of the 1000 block of Market Place Drive, Yorkville; Rhamir R. Harris, 19, of the 100 block of Hamlin Street, Chicago; a 17 year-old male juvenile from Yorkville; and a 17 year-old male juvenile from Chicago were all transported by Oswego and Plainfield Fire Protection District paramedics to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora.

Kendall County Sheriff's Deputy Daniel Briars said Monday, April 20, that it was believed that all of the crash victims had suffered non-life threatening injuries at the time of their transport to the hospital.

Briars confirmed one of the 17 year-old juveniles was driving the vehicle and charged with driving under the influence.

The investigation into the crash is continuing, Briars said.
