Calaura Hockings and Joshua Schisler plan to wed on May 30

Calaura Hockings of Manlius and Joshua Schisler of Astoria are announcing their engagement and approaching marriage. She is the daughter of Samuel and Laurie Hockings of Manlius, and he is the son of Eldon and Rebecca Schisler of Astoria.

The bride-elect graduated from Bureau Valley High School in 2013, from Monmouth College in 2017 and from Western Illinois University in 2019.

Her fiancé graduated from Astoria High School in 2016. He works for Wright Tree Services.

The couple is planning to be married on May 30 in Peoria. If the wedding is postponed due to the coronavirus, their wedding will be held on July 24.
