PRINCETON — Heartland Bank and Trust Company announces that Ginger Freeberg has been named mortgage banker.
Freeberg, also a commercial lender for the bank, has nearly 31 years of local experience in the banking and financial services industry. In her new role, she serves the home loan needs of customers in the Princeton, Peru, Spring Valley, Oglesby and Henry areas and is based at the bank’s 606 S. Main St. branch in Princeton.
She is responsible for assisting customers with residential lending needs, including new home mortgages, mortgage refinancing and second mortgages.
Freeberg, a graduate of Wyanet High School, is involved with the Princeton Rotary Club and has served in leadership roles for the Princeton Chamber of Commerce, Princeton High School Board, Princeton Community Band, and Princeton Closet/Church Women United.
She also enjoys volunteering at local community events sponsored by Heartland Bank, the Chamber of Commerce and for the Lunch in the Park bake sale for the Hydrocephalus Association. She makes her home in Princeton with husband, Kurt, and has two children.
