Montgomery police arrest suspect on DUI charge after vehicle becomes stuck in Taco Bell lot

Montgomery police arrested a Woodridge man at 8:53 p.m. Feb. 12 on a charge of driving under the influence after police say he drove his vehicle through the exit lane at a Taco Bell restaurant in the 1900 block of Douglas Road and it became stuck.

Police said the suspect, Matthew E. Doughty, 35, of the 3100 block of Crab Tree Avenue, then left his vehicle and started walking.

Police said officers located Doughty and noticed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath.

Police said Doughty was then arrested on the DUI charge. He later posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.
