Tickets are now on sale for CASA's Celebration of Children Gala in March, which will benefit CASA Kane County.
CASA is a charity that advocates for abused and neglected children within the juvenile court system, with the goal of ensuring each child is placed in a safe and permanent home. Fox Valley Auto Group has donated a new automobile to benefit CASA Kane County that will be raffled off at the event.
“CASA does amazing work to help foster children right here in our own community and we are pleased to be able to help raise funds and draw awareness for such a worthy organization,” Fox Valley Auto Group President President Emir Abinion said in a news release from CASA Kane County.
CASA’s grand prize raffle winner will choose either a new 2020 Buick Encore or 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan courtesy of Fox Valley Auto and the winner will be chosen at CASA’s Celebration of Children Gala on March 7 at the Q Center in St. Charles. Raffle tickets cost $100 each and only 1,000 will be sold (winner need not be present).
For a chance to win, purchase tickets online at CASA Kane County's website, casakanecounty.org.
“CASA Kane County is grateful for the support of Fox Valley Auto Group who has given us the opportunity to raise funds that directly impact the lives of children," CASA Executive Director Gloria Kelley said in the release. "This collaboration will help further the mission of CASA to reach every child in need to find a safe, nurturing and permanent home.”
For more than 30 years, CASA Kane County has been recruiting, training and supervising community volunteers who serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates and the Guardian ad Litem for children in court because of abuse, neglect or private guardianship.
The CASA volunteer acts as the eyes and ears of the judge to help make the best decision for a safe, caring and permanent home for each child. The organization serves 100% of all abuse/neglect and private guardianship cases in the 16th Judicial Circuit of Kane County and has been doing this since 2000.
CASA Kane County's staff along 200 CASA/GAL volunteers advocate for more than 500 children annually. More information is available by going to casakanecounty.org or calling 630-232-4484.
