The Ottawa High School Pirate Poms swept the competition at Maine East High School on Sunday, winning first place in Lyrical and first place in Jazz along with Lauren Mucci winning first place in the Soloist competition. All three routines received state qualifying scores for the Illinois Drill Team Association (IDTA) State Competition on Feb. 14-15 in Springfield.
