Dwight L. Hedrick

BLOOMINGTON – Dwight L. Hedrick, 79 of Bloomington, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Dwight’s service will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Chana United Methodist Church, Chana, IL with Pastor Jeff DeLaughter officiating. Following the service, burial will be held at the Washington Grove Cemetery, Ashton, IL. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 21, 2019 from 4 - 8 p.m. at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington and also on Tuesday an hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the American Heart Association.

Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.

Dwight was born on December 2, 1939 in Bradford, Ohio, to Ward and Bertha Sanford Hedrick. He married Carolyn Sue Flanagan on May 11, 1963, in Ashton, IL. She preceded in death on September 27, 2003.

Dwight is survived by his children, Michael (Laura) Hedrick, LeRoy, IL, and Vicki (Edward) Allison, Kansas, IL; 4 grandchildren; and a half-sister, Phyllis Lauderback, St. Paris, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son, Jeffrey Scott Hedrick; and an infant sister, Anita Lynn Hedrick.
