Elburn Lions to host 26th annual car show

ELBURN – Join the Elburn Lions Club for its 26th annual car show from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 6 at Lions Park, 500 S. Filmore St.

More than 30 classes of cars, trucks and motorcycles will be on display, including best of the best, which features car show winners from throughout Illinois who will compete for the Lion's award.

Free chili will be available to car show entrants, while it lasts. Donuts, coffee and more available for purchase in the morning and hot dogs, hamburgers, steak sandwiches and pork tenderloins will be available during the afternoon. Music from Carousel Sound will provide classic rock all day long. Attendees can browse a swap meet and craft show.

The show is free for spectators and vehicle entry is $20 at the gate. All proceeds from the event will go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, veteran's causes and needy Kaneland children.
