• Brian W. Benton, 42, of the 800 block of Sterling Ave., Geneva, was charged Sept. 14 with two counts of domestic battery. According to the charging documents, Benton kicked the glass shower doors in on the victim while she was taking a shower, causing an injury to her right foot. Charging documents also state that Benton cornered the victim’s body and arms and grabbed her arms, pinning her against the wall.
