FULTON – A.C. McCartney Equipment has purchased the Merema Bros. farm equipment dealership at 2900 Waller Road.
Merema Bros. was founded in 1951 by Fulton-area brothers Bert and Martin Merema, according to the company’s now-defunct website. Bert’s sons, Bob, Roger and Stanley, all joined their father in the business.
McCartney is an AGCO farm equipment dealer, offering Massey Ferguson, Gleaner, White Planters, Sunflower, Hesston, and Fendt products.
