Prairie Lakes Golf Course & Inn reopens

Prairie Lakes Golf Course & Inn, 2550 N. 32nd Road, Marseilles, announced they reopened on Sunday.

The business made the announcement on Facebook Friday after temporarily closing on June 6.

"Thank you all for your patience, we are excited to announce that we will be open for golf this Sunday morning," the business said on Facebook.

The bar and restaurant will reopen this week.

Businesses opening in Streator strip mall

An AT&T store at the corner of Bloomington Street and Marilla Park Road in Streator had a soft opening and will be having a grand opening in upcoming weeks.

Along with AT&T, a Great Clips haircutting store and a cash advance and title loan store are also prepared to open at the new strip mall, although a representative from Great Clips was unavailable to comment.

The cash advance and title loan store is still in the process of putting up its signage and preparing for opening.

Mexican restaurant opens in downtown Streator

A new Mexican restaurant has opened at the site of a previous one in downtown Streator.

Toro Tacos is open at 116 N. Bloomington St., Streator, where La Salsa previously was located. The business conducted a soft opening last week and is now open daily for lunch and dinner.
