David William Thompson

ROCK FALLS – David William Thompson, 61, of Rock Falls died Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at his home.

He was born on July 22, 1957, in Elroy, WI, the son of Clifford J. and Janice R. (Little) Thompson. He had worked as a merchandiser for 7UP and later for Entenmann’s and Brown-Berry. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

Surviving are his sons, Jacob Thompson and Jeremy Hayes; his sisters, Nancy Linder of Belvidere, Diana Gregg of Walworth, WI, Cheryl Thompson of Kendall, WI, and Joy Elsing of New Lisbon, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lee Thompson and Kenneth Thompson.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation.
