Q. Are there any ride companies in Streator like Lyft or Uber, and if so, how do I contact them?
A. There are currently no Lyft or Uber drivers operating in Streator by itself but those needing a ride can call for one. It just might not come quickly, as most drivers are based out of Chicago and the suburbs.
Uber’s current website does not allow for Streator or Ottawa to be selected as a city and Lyft’s website has as far south as Manville, as far west as Spring Valley and as far east as Dwight listed as in Chicago’s service area. Users of the Lyft app can request a driver but finding one that will drive this far out of the city may prove difficult.
