WALLACE TOWNSHIP — Timothy J. Donahue, 57, of Wallace Township, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria after a long battle with cancer.
Memorial Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at St. Patrick's Church with the Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to services at Ottawa Funeral Home.
Tim was born Jan. 21, 1961, in Ottawa, to Robert and Dorothy (Landers) Donahue. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church. A highlight of Tim's life was when he attended the World Special Olympics in Ireland.
Tim was a devoted father, son and brother who was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who may have needed it. He was also a great friend to anyone who had the pleasure of getting to know him. He will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy; two sons, Jacob (Lindsey) Donahue, of Ottawa, and Cody (Bre) Donahue, of Grand Ridge; his grandchildren, Josephine, Joseph, Henry, Weston and baby Donahue, due this month; three siblings, William (Kevin Babb) Donahue, Laurie (Erik) Skromme and Susan (William) Francour; and his nieces and nephews, Nicholas (Maggie) and Douglas Skromme and John and Katie Francour.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sr.; and his brother, Robert Jr.
