Keefe Real Estate recently announced details about opening its eighth office, which will be the first in Illinois.
The new office is nearing completion and will open Monday at 11705 Catalpa Lane in Woodstock.
The office is near Routes 14 and 47, near the Walmart Supercenter.
As this full-service real estate brokerage expands into the Illinois market, Keefe brings experience in selling and buying residential homes, commercial real estate, vacation properties and farmland.
With a team of agents who have served McHenry County for many years, Keefe Real Estate is ready to service communities throughout the county.
“This office will be energized by the talented individuals that we’ve brought on, and our recruiting efforts are continuing. We continue to build this team and are seeking additional agents,” said Chris DeVincentis, Keefe’s vice president of brokerage operations. “Keefe is a top real estate brokerage because we invest in finding the very best agents and then provide them with top-notch support and ongoing training.”
Keefe recently brought on a handful of seasoned real estate professionals: Natalie Torres as managing broker; Clancy Green, who focuses on commercial, residential real estate and vacant land; and Randy Erwin, specializing in farms, vacant land and rural estate properties.
Suzanne Kaminski recently was announced as the business’ new office administrator.
These four bring many years of real estate experience and join the three existing Keefe agents who serve customers along both sides of the state line.
For CEO Tom Keefe, the expansion into northern Illinois is more than just opening a new office – it also is about growing the Keefe family.
“As an independent brokerage that has been family-owned for 75 years, our expertise is in bringing an unmatched level of support and service to our customers,” he said. “Training, elevating and expanding our agent team is critical to our success, and I’m thrilled to welcome the new agents in the Woodstock area to our family.”
Extensive renovations were done to the interior space, and the office has been completed with modern décor and all new workspaces to accommodate up to 10 sales agents.
Final design elements and the exterior signage are in the process of being installed before the doors open Monday.
A grand opening celebration will take place Jan. 10 at the new location. This will coincide with the release of the winter issue of Keefe’s Lake & Country magazine, which focuses on McHenry County.
The event will be from 3 to 6 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting, refreshments and tours of the new office. Woodstock Mayor Brian Sager is expected to assist with the ceremonial ribbon-cutting.
The public is welcome to attend the event. Those who would like to attend are asked to RSVP to Katrina at katrinal@keeferealestate.com or 262-348-3215.
Keefe Real Estate is an independent and family-owned real estate brokerage that originally opened its doors in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, in 1943 as Farm Auction Service Inc., providing auction and short-term lending services to area farmers.
Three generations later, the company has grown to become one of the largest real estate brokerages in the region, specializing in commercial and residential real estate throughout southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
By investing in and developing a team of professional real estate agents, Keefe has more than 80 sales agent specialists who go above and beyond to help customers achieve their dreams. Keefe Real Estate is No. 1 in sales volume in Walworth, Racine and Kenosha counties in Wisconsin, and it now is adding a location in Woodstock to better service customers residing in McHenry and adjacent counties.
