Haarmann-Olson Wedding

Nicole Leann Haarmann of Effingham, IL and Matthew Dale Olson of Streator, IL were married recently. Their wedding was on July 21, 2018 at 1 pm at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham, IL.  A reception followed at 5:30 pm at the Carriage House Event Center in Altamont, IL.
In attendance at their ceremony was Maid of Honor Katie Yusko of Mazon, IL, sister of the bride, along with bridesmaids Sarah Claytor of Chillicothe, MO, Jessie Rexroat of Dieterich, IL, Brigitte Mason of Bellefont, PA, and Chelsea Ballinger of Greenville, IL, all friends of the bride.  Also in attendance was Best Man Adam Roach of Millbrook, IL along with groomsmen Matt Eurich of Streator, IL, Alec Yuhas of Ottawa, IL, John Van Duzer of Streator, IL, and Kevin Faivre of Malta, IL, all friends of the groom.  The ringbearer was Emmett Roach, godson of the groom and ushers were Jesse Haarmann and Brad Yusko.  The ceremony was officiated by Fr. Chuck Edwards. Musicians for the ceremony were Rebecca Carmack, Kathleen Holthaus, and Phillip Holthaus. Readers were Elaine Dust and Donald Schmitt.
Nicole is the daughter of Thomas and Janet Haarmann of Effingham, IL and the granddaughter of Richard and Pauline Zimmerman of Watson, IL, the late Melburn and Alice Ritz of Ste. Marie, IL, and the late Harold Haarmann of Effingham, IL.  Matthew is the son of Bill and Carol Olson of Streator, IL and the grandson of the late Willard and Maxine Olson of Streator, IL and the late Donald and Louise Schmitt of Streator, IL.
Nicole is a 2008 graduate of St. Anthony High School, a 2012 graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science, and a 2016 graduate of University of Missouri with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine specializing in large and small animals.  She is an Associate Veterinarian at Novak Rinker Vet Clinic.
Matthew is a 2004 graduate of Marquette Academy, a 2006 graduate of Joliet Junior College with an associate's degree in Ag Business, and a 2008 graduate of Illinois State University with a bachelor's degree in Ag Business. He is a farmer in Streator.
The couple plans to celebrate with a honeymoon later this winter.
