Obstructing among charges

Montgomery police arrested Alison J. Bloch, 38, of the 0-100 block of Chantilly Lane, North Aurora, after stopping the vehicle she was a passenger in the 900 block of Aucutt Road June 20 at 7:48 p.m. Police said Bloch was charged with obstructing a peace officer and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bloch posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.

DUI, resisting arrest

Montgomery police arrested Alexander Johnson, 29, of the 1000 block of South 14th Avenue, Maywood, in the 1300 block of Douglas Road June 26 at 12:21 a.m. on charges of driving under the influence and resisting arrest. Johnson posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.

Aurora man facing charges

Montgomery police arrested Keith A. Schuler, 33, of the 900 block of Oliver Avenue, Aurora, after stopping him for failing to dim his vehicle’s headlights on Douglas Road at Melrose Avenue Sept. 26 at 12:40 a.m. Police said Schuler was charged with driving on a revoked license. In addition, police said he was wanted on a Batavia police warrant for other traffic offenses. Schuler was released after posting bond.

Charged with leaving crash scene

Montgomery police arrested Diamond M. Barnes, 19, of the 2200 block of Gallant Fox Circle, Montgomery, June 21 at 12:57 p.m. on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident that occurred in the parking lot of a retail store on Orchard Road near Caterpillar Drive. Police said witnesses saw Barnes’ white Pontiac GrandAm strike a Toyota Rav4 in the parking lot and then leave the lot. Police were able to locate Barnes based on the description of her vehicle as provided by witnesses. Barnes is scheduled to appear at the Kendall County Courthouse in Yorkville on the charge in August.

Warrant arrest

Montgomery police arrested Jacob C. Pollner, 41, of the 2000 block of Roxbury Lane, Montgomery, at his residence June 24 at 6:43 p.m. Police said Pollner was wanted on an Aurora police warrant for a prior disorderly conduct charge and on a DuPage County warrant for fraud. Police said Pollner was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

Arrest two in traffic stop

Montgomery police arrested Rebekah Esparza, 37, of the 500 block of Hoyles Avenue, Aurora, after stopping her vehicle June 24 at 11:38 p.m. in the 1700 block of Douglas Road. Police said Esparza was charged with driving on a suspended license. She posted bond and was released at the scene pending a court date at the Aurora branch court. Police said they also arrested a passenger in Esparza’s vehicle, Michael O. Davis, 32, of the 800 block of East New York Street, Aurora, on an Aurora police warrant. Police said Davis was transferred to the custody of Aurora police pending court proceedings.

Speeding violation
leads to warrant arrest

Montgomery police arrested Michael L. Santiago, 28, of the 300 block of Stewart Avenue, Aurora, after stopping his vehicle for speeding in the 900 block of Aucutt Road June 20 at 7:48 p.m. Police said Santiago was found to be wanted on a Kane County warrant for failure to appear in court on prior charge of driving without a license. He was charged with driving on a suspended license and cited for speeding, according to police. Santiago was unable to post bond and was transported to the Kane County Jail in St. Charles pending court proceedings, police said.

DUI among charges

Montgomery police arrested Angel Patino, 42, of the 1200 block of Coventry Place, Aurora, after stopping his vehicle on Montgomery Road at Pearl Street June 19 at 11:31 p.m. Police said officers observed that Patino’s vehicle had only one operational headlight and he was not able to maintain one lane of travel. Police said Patino was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol. In addition, police said he was cited for driving without insurance, driving with only one headlight and improper lane use. He was transported to the Kane County Jail pending a bond call.

Aurora man arrested

Montgomery police arrested Zachary S. Green, 18, of the 1700 block of Hazelnut Street, Aurora, on a charge of criminal damage to property at a business in the 1900 block of Douglas Road June 23 at 5:32 p.m. Police said Green was later released pending a court appearance.

Cited for 31 mph over limit

Montgomery police ticketed Linda A. Devlin, 52, of the 0-100 block of Longwood Way, Lemont, after stopping her vehicle in the 1900 block of Route 30 June 19 at 12:59 p.m. Police said Devlin was cited for speeding in excess of 31 mph over the posted speed limit. She was released at the scene pending a court date.
