One hurt in rollover crash

A Plainfield resident, Allison Follman, 19, was injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Line Road south of Wheeler Road in NaAuSay Township June 17 at 4:30 a.m., according to the county sheriff’s office. Police said Plainfield Fire Protection District paramedics took Follman to an area hospital. Follman was cited for improper lane use and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Cited for speeding

County sheriff’s deputies ticketed Donshea D. Merrick, 27, of the 900 block of Windemere Lane, Aurora, for speeding 35 mph or more over the posted speed limit after they stopped his vehicle on Eldamain Road at Galena Road in Little Rock Township June 18 at 9:17 a.m. Police said Merrick’s vehicle was traveling at 81 mph in a 45 mph speed limit zone when he was pulled over.

Facing DUI charge

County sheriff deputies arrested Cheryl Krugler, 21, of the 900 block of Sable Ridge Drive, Joliet, after she drove her vehicle into a ditch in the 2600 block of Van Dyke Road in Seward Township June 19 at 1:18 a.m. Police said Krugler was cited for driving under the influence of prescription medications. Police said she was taken to the county jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

Boulder Hill battery

County sheriff’s deputies took a report of an aggravated battery in the 0-99 block of Circle Drive East in Boulder Hill June 15 at 10:10 p.m. Police said no injuries were reported in the incident and their investigation is continuing.

Boulder Hill theft reported

County deputies took a report of a theft from a home in the 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass in Boulder Hill June 15 at 6:30 p.m. Police said the theft occurred June 14 at 4 p.m. and their investigation is continuing.

Investigation continuing

County sheriff’s deputies were summoned to a home in the 0-99 block of Ridgefield Road in Boulder Hill June 17 at 12:12 a.m. on a report of a fight in progress. Police said deputies were advised upon arrival that an unknown person had damaged a picture window at the home and fled on foot. Police said they are investigating.

ID theft reported

A resident of the 1000 block of Little Rock Road filed an ID theft report with county deputies June 15. Police said the victim reported finding unauthorized charges on his debit card.

Respond to domestic

County sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of domestic battery and criminal damage to property at a home in the 400 block of South Church Street in Fox Township June 16 at 11 p.m. Police said all parties involved in the incident were uncooperative and refused to sign complaints. No injuries were reported and no arrests made, according to police.

Under investigation

County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a report of a domestic battery and interference with the reporting of a domestic situation at a home in the 4300 block of Tuma Road in Bristol Township June 16 at 8:23 p.m.

No arrests made

County sheriff’s deputies were summoned to a home in the 0-99 block of Fox Run Drive in Fox Township June 16 at 7:39 p.m. on a report of a battery. Police said the people involved in the incident later declined to press charges, no injuries were reported and no arrests were made.

Citation issued at jail

County sheriff’s deputies issued a citation to Kalya Lee Becerra-Gomez, 18, of the 1900 block of Tall Oaks Drive, Aurora, with leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Police said the citation was issued to Becerra-Gomez at the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville as deputies conducted an investigation.

Warrant arrest

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Camisha L. Gardner, 46, at a home in the 300 block of Grape Vine Trail in Oswego June 17 at 2:05 p.m. Police said Gardner was wanted on a Kendall County warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving on a suspended license. She was taken to the Kendall County Jail, where her bond was set at $2,000.

Fox Township domestic reported

County sheriff’s deputies were summoned to a home in the 0-99 block of Fox Run Drive in Fox Township June 17 at 2:27 a.m. on a report of a domestic battery. Police said their investigation into the incident is continuing.

ID theft reported

County sheriff’s deputies took an ID theft report from a resident of the 0-200 block of Timbercreek Drive East, Bristol Township, June 12. Police said the victim told deputies that someone had charged money on an account he had never opened.

Citations issued

County sheriff’s deputies ticketed Brenden T. Wiskur, 24, of the 4500 block of Deames Street, Plano, after stopping the vehicle he was driving for speeding 60 mph in a 45 mph zone on Eldamain Road near Kendall Farms Road June 12 at 10:58 a.m. Police said Wiskur was issued a citation for speeding and given civil citations for unlawful possession of not more than 10 grams of cannabis and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Vehicle burglary reported

County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a burglary to a vehicle that was parked in the 0-10 block of Johnson Street in Newark June 11. Police said someone entered the unlocked vehicle and stole medication and jewelry valued at about $300.

License violation

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Belinda Stokes, 57, of the 200 block of South Oak Creek Lane, Romeoville, after stopping her vehicle for having only one headlight. Police said Stokes was charged with driving on a suspended license.

Warrant arrest

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jacob Thomas, 18, of the 170000 block of Frazier Road in Little Rock Township near Plano on a warrant June 13 at 12:19 p.m. Police said Thomas was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a prior charge of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. Police said Thomas was taken to the county jail pending court proceedings.

Motorist stopped, cited

County sheriff’s deputies ticketed Desiree Thomas, 23, of Plano after stopping her vehicle for a speeding violation on Cannonball Trail at Bristol Ridge road June 14 at 4:24 p.m. Police said Thomas was cited for speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving without a valid license.

County sheriff’s deputies ticketed Taylor Dux, 24, of the 2200 block of Red Hawk Drive, Plainfield, after stopping her vehicle in the 8000 block of Millbrook Road in Fox Township June 15 at 6:57 p.m. Police said Dux was cited for speeding and operating a vehicle with an expired registration.

Fuel theft reported

Fuel was reported stolen from a gas station in the 300 block of East Route 71 in Newark, June 10 at 10:32 p.m., according to the county sheriff’s office. Police said the theft is under investigation.

Battery investigation

County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a report of a domestic battery at a hotel in the 1100 block of Route 30 in Oswego Township June 12 at 6:20 p.m.

License violation

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Hope Marie Ramirez, 32, of the 300 block of Rathbone Avenue, Aurora, after stopping her vehicle for having an expired registration June 13 at 9:19 p.m. on Fernwood Road at Douglas Road in Boulder Hill. Police said Ramirez was charged with driving on a suspended license.

Citations issued

County sheriff’s deputies issued a civil citation to Daniel I. Schultz, 18, of the 3000 block of Alyssa Street, Plano, after stopping the vehicle he was a passenger in on River Road at Eldamain Road in Bristol Township June 13 at 9:25 p.m. Police said Schultz was cited for unlawful possession of cannabis, while the juvenile driver of the vehicle was cited for speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia.
