STERLING – Joseph Johnny Segobiano, 78, of Sterling, died Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at his home.

He was born Nov. 11, 1939, in Silvis, the son of Juan A. and Maria (Serrano) Segobiano. He had worked at various jobs in his lifetime. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Sterling.

Survivors include his sister, Virginia (Ramon) Bernal of Sterling; his brothers, Robert (Mary Ann) Segobiano of Chicago, and Al Segobiano and Joseph Gregory (Caryl) Segobiano, both of Sterling; his nieces and nephews; and special niece, Kimberly Coss of Denton, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Juanita, Margaret, Nellie and Rose; and his brother, Pete.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at McDonald Funeral Home, 505 First Ave., Sterling. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Sterling, with the Rev. James Keenan officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling.
