Ogle County Sheriff Brian VanVickle reports the following arrests.
Jan. 3
At 15:57 p.m., deputies along with Stillman Valley EMS were dispatched to the area of 11400 East Illinois 72 for a single vehicle rollover crash.
After an investigation, Rose Villani, 56, Davis Junction, was arrested for driving while under the influence and other traffic offenses.
Villani was transported by Stillman Valley EMS to Swedish American Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Villani was released on a $3,000 I-Bond.
Jan. 9
Matthew A. Hoelzer, 32, Franklin Grove, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. HIs full cash bond was set at $5,432. Hoelzer posted $75 and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 26.
Nicholas S. Hollis, 33, Forreston, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for petition to revoke. His bond was set at $10,000 (10%) pending a Jan. 10 court appearance.
Jan. 10
Kristen L. Wessman, 36, Mt. Morris, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for suspended vehicle registration. Wessman posted $2,000 (10%) as bond and was released. She is scheduled to appear back in court on Jan. 26.
Crawford Weathers, 41, Sterling, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Weathers’ bond was set at $13,669. He received a purge bond and was released and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 26.
Yass Yoursef, 29, Loves Park, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Yoursef posted $293 as bond and was released and does not have to return to court.
Cole Smith, 29, Rochelle, was arrested at 11 p.m. for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop in the 1000 block of North Illinois 251. Smith was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
Jan. 11
Jeffery Bridges, 60, Rockford, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear with a bond of $4,436. Bridges received a bond of $3,000 and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 26.
Travis Coleman, 23, Rockford, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. His bond was set at $1,086 pending a Jan. 12 court appearance.
At approximately 2:47 p.m., deputies performed a traffic stop at the intersection of Mud Creek Road and Katies Way after the vehicle had just been called in as a driving complaint.
After an investigation, Robert Williams, 35, Dixon, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, less than 15 grams. He was also issued citations for improper lane usage and no lights when required.
Williams was transported to the Ogle County Jail and is held pending a court appearance.
Jan. 12
Jeremy Masterman, 45, Sterling, was arrested for domestic battery. Masterman’s bond was set at $5,000 (10%) pending a court appearance.
Jan. 13
Leonardo Alvarez-Ruiz, 47, Hendersonville, Tennessee, was arrested at 2:04 a.m. for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop on Illinois 28 at Dement Road. He was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
Tony R. Cook, 49, Rockford, was arrested at 1:29 p.m. for not having a valid driver’s license following a traffic stop in the 10000 block of North Illinois 2. Cook was also cited for having an expired registration and operating an uninsured vehicle.
Juan Reyes, 30, Rochelle, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Reyes’ bond was set at $2,000 (10%) pending a Jan. 16 court appearance.
Andrew Swift, 31, Oregon, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for driving while license suspended and failure to appear. His bonds were set at $5,000 (10%) and $4,064 (full cash) pending a Jan. 16 court appearance.
Jan. 15
At approximately 11 p.m., deputies responded to 1190 Mongan Drive in Oregon for a report of an out of control individual. After further investigation, Audrey M. Mongan, 22, Oregon was arrested for disorderly conduct. Mongan was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was being held in lieu of bond.
