A Sheridan woman was killed in a two-vehicle, head-on collision Saturday, Dec. 9 in Yorkville.
Yorkville police said Tina M. Turner, 32, of the 2600 block of N. County Road 3853, Sheridan, was pronounced dead on the scene of the accident, which occurred on Route 47 north of Galena Road at 8:41 p.m.
Police said car driven by Bradley A. Anderson, 29, of the 0-100 block of Cotswold Drive, Yorkville, was driving south on Route 47 when it crossed over the center line and crashed head-on into Turner's car headed in the opposite direction.
Anderson was injured in the accident and taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
Police said Anderson was cited for improper lane usage and that an investigation is continuing pending the results of blood work taken from Anderson.
