SYCAMORE – Two people will spend Thanksgiving in the DeKalb County Jail after being arrested Wednesday afternoon in connection with stealing a Jeep, according to a news release from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
James D. Honey, 24, of the 6800 block of Hickory Street in Tinley Park, has been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, obstruction of justice and driving with a revoked license.
His passenger, Dominique R. Spann, 22, of the 14900 block of Langley Avenue in Dolton, was wanted on two warrants for failing to appear in court – one from DeKalb County for shoplifting and the other out of Kane County for driving under the influence, the release said.
The 2017 Jeep was stolen in Glenwood, and Honey was pulled over about
2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 2400 block of Sycamore Road, according to the release.
They will have a bond hearing at 1 p.m. Friday.
