DUI arrest
Oswego police arrested Saul Holguin, 38, of Yorkville, after stopping his vehicle on Route 30 at Proclamation Drive Nov. 3 at 4:30 p.m. after the vehicle he was driving was involved in a single vehicle crash. Police said Holguin was charged with driving under the influence, driving on a revoked license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Holguin was detained at the County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.
License violation
Oswego police cited Alaa W. Barbarawi, 23, of the 100 block of Linden Drive, Oswego, with driving on a suspended license after they stopped his vehicle on Route 34 at Route 71 Nov. 6. Police said Barbarawi is scheduled to appear in court next month.
Motorist cited
Oswego police cited Fillistine Johnson, 29, of the 2200 block of Hagaman Drive, Montgomery, after stopping her vehicle in the 4300 block of Route 71 Nov. 6. Police said Johnson faces charges of driving on a suspended license and speeding.
Cannabis arrest
Oswego police arrested Benjamin L. Ryder, 18, of the 700 block of Hedgerow Lane, Oswego, at his residence Nov. 4 at 2:50 a.m on charges of possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Seek info in BB damage
Oswego police are investigating an incident in which someone used a BB gun to to damage a window at a residence in the 10-20 block of North Adams Street. Police ask that anyone with information to contact them at 630-551-7300.
Warrant arrest
Oswego police arrested Jason W. Fountain, 21, of the 13000 block of S. Hadfield Drive, Plainfield, in the 0-10 block of North Adams Street Oct. 31 at 7:09 p.m. Police said Fountain was wanted on a DeKalb County warrant for failure to appear in court.
Damage reported
A Boulder Hill resident told Oswego police that her vehicle was struck and damaged by an unknown vehicle while it was parked in the 50th block of Stonehill Road Oct. 31.
Motorist evaluated after crash
Eduardo Quinones, 19, of Montgomery, was transported to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora for evaluation after the vehicle he was driving was involved in a single vehicle crash in the 300 block of Fifth Street Nov. 2 at 8:58 p.m., according to Oswego police. Damage to Quinones' vehicle was estimated in excess of $1,500, police said.
One hurt in crash
A Plainfield resident, Hetal D. Patel, 48, was injured in a two vehicle crash on Wolf's Crossing Road at Fifth Street Nov. 2 at 6:30 p.m., Oswego police reported. Police said Patel suffered minor injuries and was transported to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash, Darren G. Headley, 43, of Oswego was not hurt, police said.
Vehicle theft reported
A resident of the 100 block of Concord Drive South, Oswego, reported his vehicle stolen Nov. 6 at 1 a.m.
Motorist arrested
Oswego police arrested Woodrow Edwards, Jr., 48, of the 200 block of Wilson Place, after stopping his vehicle on Wilson Street at Monroe Street Nov. 4 at 10:55 p.m. Police said Edwards faces charges of driving while license revoked, no valid proof of registration an driving on an expired registration.
Vehicle damaged
Oswego police are investigating an incident in which a vehicle parked in the area of Wolf's Crossing Road and Southbury Boulevard was damaged Nov. 4 at 9:51 p.m. Police said damage to the vehicle was estimated at less than $100.
