Anderson named retail manager at Heartland Bank

Heartland Bank and Trust Co. has named Tia Anderson the retail manager for its DeKalb office at 913 S. Fourth St.

Anderson most recently served as branch manager and assistant vice president. Having advanced her banking career through several retail banking roles, she is responsible for ensuring value and top-of-the-line service to bank customers, as well as retail employee development and training.

Anderson has more than 11 years of banking experience. She is a member of the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce Leadership Academy Advisory Committee and a board member for CASA of DeKalb County and Kishwaukee United Way.

Originally from Rockford, Anderson and her husband, Aaron, make their home in DeKalb with their son Aiden and dog Clyde who is a Tails Humane Society rescue.
