PMH welcomes Dr. Allen Van

PRINCETON — Perry Memorial Hospital CEO/President Annette Schnabel announces orthopedic surgeon Allen Van, MD is joining the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Clinic team.

“Dr. Van specializes in the minimally invasive spine surgery and comes to us highly recommended,” said Schnabel.

Van’s 20 years of experience and his specialty surgery will offer patients to encounter less damage and pain to the body while reducing patient complications and hospital stays when having spine surgery. Schnabel went on to say, “His specialty is a perfect fit for enhancing the orthopedic and sports medicine offerings Dr. Minardi and Dr. Brackett already provide.”

“Perry Memorial is experiencing a vibrant growth. The excellent staff is skilled and compassionate. The ancillary services at the hospital are top notch. I am excited to offer minimally invasive spine surgery to patients in our community, eliminating the need to travel to more urban hospitals,” said Van.

Van is a certified American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons, a member of the North American Spine Society, Fellow of American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Medical Association and a Diplomat on the National Board Medical Examiners. He received his undergraduate from Northwestern University, Chicago, and graduated from Rush Medical University, Chicago. While at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center, Van was a spine surgery fellow and completed his surgical internship and residency.
