I enthusiastically recommend Gary Fritz for Rutland Township assessor. I have worked closely with him for six years as the Batavia Township deputy assessor and as the Rutland Township assessor in 2005.
Gary has been in the assessment field for more than 25 years at both county and township levels. After this assessment debacle of 2005 here in Rutland Township, Gary was contracted as our assessor and reassessed all Sun City properties and brought them back to a fair and equitable level.
Gary has been called as an expert witness in many court cases in several counties in the area.
He was deputy supervisor of assessments in DuPage County for more than 25 years.
These and other examples are why, in my personal opinion, of the two people running for this office in Rutland Township, Gary is by far the most qualified to do a professional job of fair and equitable property assessment.
