Prairie Ridge averaged more than eight runs a game and lost only two to graduation. ... O'Brien hit .481 and led area players with 10 homers and struck out only twice. ... Schillinger was a nuisance and hit .525 with 47 runs scored and 40 steals in 40 attempts, striking out only three times. ... Barnes set a school record with 12 RBIs in a 17-14 win against Marian Central. She hit three home runs, including a grand slam.
