Castle Orthopaedics joins Rush-Copley Medical Center

Castle Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine SC and Castle Surgicenter LLC recently announced its integration with Rush-Copley Medical Center effective Oct. 1.

“As a successful practice, our integration with Rush-Copley is a logical next step for the growth and development of Castle Orthopaedics,” said Scott O’Connor, M.D., president of Castle Orthopaedics. “While this represents a change in ownership of the practice and surgicenter, our patients will still receive the same access, service and extraordinary quality of care from our physicians and staff.”

Drs. Sachin K. Bansal, Steve A. Marciniak, Thomas J. McGivney, Scott M.O’Connor, Robert D. Paras, John T. Pinnello, Arif Saleem, Mark F. Schinsky and Jeffrey W. Watkins will continue to practice at the same offices and hospitals.

Castle’s staff will continue to serve patients and support the physicians. Imaging and therapy services will continue to be offered. Castle physicians will continue to perform procedures at the Castle Surgicenter and at hospitals where they are on staff, including Rush-Copley Medical Center.

“This integration will have a positive impact for both patients and Castle Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine’s practice,” said Barry C. Finn, president and CEO of Rush-Copley Medical Center. “The new partnership will allow for future growth while providing the same high level of care from the physicians and staff at Castle.”

Castle Orthopaedics, based in Aurora, has an office in Yorkville.
