MCNABB — Renee M. McAllister, 60, of McNabb, formerly of Lacon, died Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, at her residence.

Renee was born April 28, 1956, in Spring Valley to Harold “Mick” and Shirley (Gillan) Klein.

She graduated from Hall High School with the class of 1974.

Surviving are her parents, Harold “Mick” and Shirley Klein of Cherry; two daughters, Dawn Michel of McNabb and Jessica (Tyler) Bickett of Princeton; one brother, Mike (Lynn) Klein of Cherry; four sisters, Lori (Jack) Dippel of McNabb, Julie (Frank) Niewinski of Mark, Colleen (Ted) Kuziela of Bolingbrook and Tracy (Jim) Gallagher of Bloomington; and four grandchildren, Ethan, Evan, Cadience and Addilyn.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Martin Klein, who died in June 2016, and her husband Richard “Bud” McAllister, who died in January 2016.

A Celebration of Life will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Cherry with Father Patrick Fixsen officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Cherry.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
