Resource Bank N.A. has welcomed James J. “Jim” Dombek to its team at Resource Bank Trust.
With more than 15 years of experience, Dombek is an expert in trust services and portfolios, as well as estate, probate and tax planning. In addition, with the Trust and Financial Adviser certification and as a member of the Federal Trial Bar and the Illinois, DeKalb, and Kane County Bar Associations, Dombek provides knowledgeable investment guidance and counsel to his clients.
Active in his community, Dombek is a member of numerous volunteer community groups throughout DeKalb County, including Opportunity House, the Sycamore Pumpkin Festival Committee, Three Fires Boy Scout Council, Kishwaukee Habitat for Humanity, the St. Vincent DePaul Society, and several others.
Dombek has been a member of the Sycamore Community Unit School District 427 Board of Education since 1997 and president since 1999. He is a Permanent Deacon for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockford, having been ordained in 1991. He completed his undergrad work at Northern Illinois University, received his master's degree at Loras College in Dubuque, and earned his Doctor of Law degree at the IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago.
