Assault and battery
• Erica N. Smith, 35, of the 1600 block of LeMoyne Street, Chicago, was charged at 11:04 a.m. July 18 with aggravated assault of a police officer at 3815 Highland Ave.
• Patrick C. Bellezza, 28, of the zero to 100 block of West 59th Street, Westmont, was charged at 9:22 a.m. July 20 with two counts of battery and criminal damage to property and arrested on a warrant at 3815 Highland Ave.
DUI
Windell G. Reedy, 41, of the 3100 block of Robinson Drive, Woodridge, was charged at 12:35 a.m. July 19 with driving under the influence of alcohol and license violations in the 900 block of 63rd Street.
Burglary
• Two thumb drives and four keys were stolen between 12:05 a.m. June 9 and 2 a.m. June 9 from Downers Grove North High School, 4436 Main St.
• A drill and drill bits were stolen between 7 and 11 a.m. June 18 from an unsecured work van between at 1039 Carol St.
Theft
• Stanislav V. Zelvianski, 52, of the 5500 block of Church Street, Morton Grove, was charged at 5:14 p.m. July 18 with retail theft at 3300 Finley Road.
• John M. Ress, 60, of the 2900 block of Alden Avenue, Yorkville, was charged at 7:36 p.m. July 19 with retail theft at 3300 Finley Ave.
• Wayland Chan, 62, of the 1500 block of Shelley Court, Darien, was charged at 7:09 p.m. July 20 with retail theft at 3300 Finley Road.
• A bicycle was stolen between 7:30 p.m. June 12 and 6:40 a.m. June 13 in the 660 block of Stonewall Avenue.
• A gutter downspout was reported stolen 10:24 a.m. June 10 in the 6100 block of Lyman Avenue.
• Items were stolen between 4 p.m. and 5:25 p.m. June 17 from a secured locker at the X Sport Fitness Center, 3200 Finley Road.
• An unattended purse was stolen between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. June 19 from Good Samaritan Hospital, 3815 Highland Ave.
• A purse left on a chair was stolen between 12:05 and 12:45 p.m. June 22 from Panera, 160 Ogden Ave.
Marijuana possession
Michael J. Johnson, 18, of the 2100 block of Overstreet Court, Naperville, was charged at 3:07 p.m. July 18 with possession of marijuana and driving without insurance at 4500 Bryan Place.
Property damage
• Tennis practice facility walls were found spray-painted between 5 p.m. June 9 and 11 a.m. June 10 at the Downers Grove Swim and Racquet Club, 5560 Fairview Ave.
• The rear window of a vehicle was shattered between 4 p.m. June 18 and 7:30 a.m. June 20 at 2243 Midhurst Road.
• A mailbox was damaged by a firework between 10:30 p.m. June 13 and 8:41 a.m. June 14 in the 5900 block of Osage Avenue.
• A window was damaged between 9 p.m. June 8 and 5 p.m. June 12 at the Kumon Math Center, 1229 Ogden Ave.
• A glass door was broken between 11 p.m. June 15 and 11:30 a.m. June 16 at 3549 Saratoga Ave.
• A car was damaged between 5 and 9 p.m. June 10 at 5200 Main St.
Breathalyzer refusal
James F. Overs, 66, of the 7400 block of West 63rd Place, Summit, was charged at 9:12 p.m. July 19 with refusing a breath test and operating an uninsured vehicle in the 2200 block of Ogden Avenue.
Warrant
• Sonya S. Stokes, 53, of the 2500 block of Ogden Avenue, was charged at 8:17 p.m. July 19 with an outstanding warrant in the 2500 block of Ogden Avenue.
• Samuel MJ Hight, 25, of the 200 block of South Kensington Avenue, LaGrange, was charged at 5:29 p.m. July 21 with an outstanding warrant at Cumnor Road and Ogden Avenue.
• David R. Andreen, 45, of the 2000 block of Maple Avenue, was charged at 4 p.m. July 21 with an outstanding warrant at 825 Burlington Road.
WESTMONT
Battery
Rogelio Martines, 33, of the 500 block of West 61st Street, was charged at 7 p.m. July 18 with domestic battery at his residence after he struck a household member.
DUI
Timothy Wickman, 30, of the 200 block of Split Oak Road, Naperville, was charged at 12:30 a.m. July 22 with driving under the influence, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and disobeying a traffic signal in the 100 block of North Cass Avenue.
Theft
• Cash was stolen between 1:30 and 1:40 p.m. July 18 from a purse in the 1000 block of Executive Court.
• Cash was stolen between 3:30 and 3:40 a.m. July 20 from a business in the 800 block of East Ogden Avenue after someone damaged a door to gain entry. Total loss is valued at $28,000.
• Jeffrey Williams, 20, of the 2100 block of West 82nd Street,Chicago, was charged at 11:20 a.m. July 24 with theft of services and obstructing identification in the 6700 block of Vail Drive.
• Craig Jones, 21, of the 700 block of West 65th Street, was charged at 6:40 p.m. July 24 with retail theft and obstructing identification, and Stefan Pasic, 20, of the 700 block of 74th Street, Downers Grove, was charged with retail theft in the 100 block of West 63rd Street.
• Cash was stolen between 6 p.m. July 23 and 2:20 a.m. July 24 from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of West Oakley Drive.
Property damage
A door of a business was damaged between 3:20 and 3:30 a.m. July 20 in the 4100 block of North Cass Avenue.
Marijuana possession
Justin Johnson, 25, of the 6000 block of Lee Avenue, Downers Grove, was charged at 7:50 p.m. July 23 with possession of marijuana, driving with open alcohol, driving with a suspended driver’s license and operating an uninsured vehicle in the 100 block of West 63rd Street.
