Sharon A. Cady

TAMPICO – Sharon A. Cady, 71, of Tampico, died Thursday, May 5, 2016, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. She worked for 34 years at the Tampico post office as a clerk.

Sharon was born Jan. 16, 1945, in Princeton, the daughter of Vernon and Elma (Cryer) Bruder. She married Larry Cady on Feb. 21, 1965, in Tampico. She was a member of Tampico United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, David (Mary) Cady and Michael (Kimberly) Cady, both of Tampico, and Steve Cady of Sterling; eight grandchildren; one stepgranddaughter; two step-great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Donna Radake and Nancy (George) Turner, both of Tampico; one brother, Dennis (Dorothy) Bruder of Tampico; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Garland Funeral Home in Tampico. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Leanne Keate, pastor of Tampico United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at Tampico Memorial Cemetery.

A memorial has been established.
