Neponset Grade School held its D.A.R.E. graduation for 26 fifth- and sixth-grade students. Bureau County Deputy Cliff Morse (left) spent 10 weeks teaching Neponset students about drug, alcohol, violence and bully prevention and resistance. Bureau County Sheriff Jim Reed (right) attended the ceremony to show continued support and dedication to the Neponset Grade School students and to celebrate the completion of the D.A.R.E. program. The winners of the D.A.R.E. essay were Jennifer Pratt and Larissa Meyer. Winners of the D.A.R.E. poster contest were Ashtyn Younglove and Samantha Stabler.
