Dixon man facing sex abuse charge

DIXON – A 20-year-old Dixon man is charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse after having sex with a 14-year-old girl in October 2014, Dixon Police Chief Danny Lanloss said.

Justin Irvine is in Lee County Jail on $50,000 bond, facing 6 to 30 years in prison of convicted.

He also was wanted on a Lee County warrant for failure to appear in court relating in a case in which he his charged with underage consumption of alcohol, police said.

He was arrested at 11:15 a.m. Thursday near his home. The charge carries 6 to 30 years in prison.
