Bruce R. Kempson

DIXON – Bruce Russell Kempson, 67, of Dixon, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, at Oregon Living and Rehabilitation.

Bruce was born July 23, 1948, in DeKalb, the son of Merle and Helen (Quarnstrom) Kempson.

Survivors include one son, Matthew Kempson of Phoenix; one daughter, Amy Johnson of Oregon; two brothers, Gene (Kelly) Kempson of Rochelle and Paul (Deb) Kempson of Roscoe; and one grandson, Mitchell.

A memorial visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Oct. 3 at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon.

There will be no funeral. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Burial of cremains will be at Malta Cemetery.

A memorial has been established.
