HINSDALE
Underage drinking
• Two 16-year-old Hinsdale residents and a 17-year-old Westmont resident were charged between 9:20 and 10 p.m. Aug. 7 to have consumed alcohol after police investigated a party and found beer cans in the street. One of the 16-year-old Hinsdale residents also was charged with allowing people younger than 21 to gather and consume alcohol in the 700 block of South Washington Street.
• Two 17-year-old Hinsdale residents, a 17-year-old from Plainfield and a 17-year old from Willow Springs were charged between 9:20 and 10 p.m. Aug. 7 with underage consumption of alcohol in the 700 block of South Washington Street.
DUI
• Lizette R. Guillen, 18, of the 800 block of North Wolf Road, Melrose Park, was charged at 3:18 a.m. Aug. 9 with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash in the 400 block of West Walnut Street after a vehicle crash in a driveway. Guillen refused testing to determine her blood alcohol content.
• Emily L. Hudson, 24, of the 200 block of Brownell Avenue, Thornton, was charged at 12:47 a.m. Aug. 7 with DUI of drugs, possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana, possession of drug equipment, speeding and improper lane use at Ogden Avenue and Oak Street.
Heroin possession
A person known to police was found in possession of heroin at 2:30 a.m. Aug. 7 at Hinsdale Hospital, 120 N. Oak Street.
Marijuana possession
Jessica R. Osif, 20, of the 2800 block of Sun Valley Drive, Plainfield, and Alexander K. Smith, 20, of the 900 block of Ashford Lane, Westmont, were each charged at 11:05 p.m. Aug. 10 with possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana and possession of drug equipment after they were stopped while driving for expired registration and no registration light at 55th and Madison streets.
Hit-and-run
• A hit-and-run was reported at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 4 at Third Street and County Line Road after a vehicle hit a tree and damaged a lawn in the 600 block of East Sixth Street. Indian Head Park police followed the vehicle to their home and the suspect ran into her home and refused to come out and talk to police. The case is still under investigation.
• A vehicle backed into another vehicle and left the scene at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 10 at Ogden Avenue and Oak Street.
Disorderly conduct
Three juveniles were reported to have ring a resident’s doorbell and threw a firecracker at the door at 9:26 p.m. Aug. 4 in the 100 block of South Elm Street. The suspects were described as between ages 12 and 15 and wearing Rollerblades.
Mischievous conduct
Someone threw eggs at a home and vehicle between 9 p.m. Aug. 4 and 8 a.m. Aug. 5 in the 400 block of West North Street and the 500 block of West Hickory Street.
Identity theft
Someone attempted to open credit card accounts using a resident’s identity between March 9 and Aug. 4. The resident was notified after receiving a collection notice for $4,382.40.
DARIEN
DUI
• Anna Maciata, 53, of the 7600 block of South Beloit Avenue, Bridgeview, was charged July 24 with DUI, hit-and-run, aggravated driving with a suspended or revoked license, no insurance, failure to reduce speed to avoid and accident and improper lane use in the 7400 block of Cass Avenue.
• Lori Johnson, 51, of the 3200 block of West Ardmore Avenue, Chicago, was charged July 27 with DUI, no driver’s license and improper lane use at Cass Avenue and 91st Street.
• Kerry Hickenlooper, 50, of the 6900 block of Clarendon Hills Road, was charged July 31 with aggravated DUI, suspended or revoked driver’s license and accident on private property in the 6900 block of Clarendon Hills Road.
Controlled substance possession
• Kurt Dreher, 23, of the 400 block of South Wilmette Avenue, Westmont, was charged July 28 with possession of a controlled substance, revoked driver’s license, speeding and obstructing identification at Linden Avenue and Plainfield Road.
• Anthony Foderaro, 18, of the 600 block of South Thurlow, Hinsdale, was charged July 28 with possession of a controlled substance at Linden Avenue and Plainfield Road.
Burglary
• An attempted residential burglary was reported Aug. 1 in the 7700 block of Danbury Drive. Not entry was gained.
• An attempted burglary of a vehicle was reported July 25 in the 1000 bock of Woodrush Lane. Nothing was reported stolen.
• Wallet, makeup and money were reported stolen July 25 from a locked vehicle in the 7300 block of Bunker Road.
• Burglaries of vehicles were reported July 26 in the 6800 block of Scotch Pine trail, the 900 block of Ripple Ridge Cove, the 7300 block of Bunker Road, the 8900 block of Middleton Road, the 8800 block of Gleneagles Lane and the 8600 block of Carriage Greens Drive.
• A burglary to a vehicle was reported July 30 in the 8100 block of Ripple Ridge Cove. Several credit cards were stolen.
