Fat Boyz Pizza and Stuff spotlighted

MINOOKA – Fat Boyz Pizza and Stuff is the most recent Grundy County Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s Business Spotlight.

The restaurant, located at 408 Mondamin St. in Minooka, is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and is closed on Sundays, Memorial Day to Labor Day.

The restaurant is owned by Carri Bueno and has 15 employees, including Sandra Hawk, who is now managing its new “little bar” and gaming area.

What is your specialty?

Pizza, sandwiches, catering, kids menu and daily specials.

What would you like to tell our readers about your business?

“Fat Boyz is a family restaurant that has recently added a separate ‘little bar’ and gaming area in the back of our building. We have a dining room that seats 50, available for private parties and get-togethers. Carryout and delivery available,” according to a news release.

What are you plans for the future?  

Coming this summer – outdoor seating and patio
 
Information on new services offered:

Now offering specialty events – “Paint a Pair Parties” the last Monday of each month for $15 a guest. Guests can paint a pair of wine glasses or pint glasses. “Come in to reserve your spot today,” the release states.

From 1 to 4 p.m. every Saturday is Vendor of the Week. “We believe in supporting local vendors. Vendors will be set up in our back room area displaying their merchandise for sale,” the release states.
