Elmhurst Extreme baseball wins tourney, Cougars place second

ELMHURST – Two youth baseball teams from Elmhurst had success at Memorial Day tournaments.

The Elmhurst Extreme 12U team won the Buffalo Grove Dalton Hinkle Slugfest Tournament, defeating the Buffalo Grove Bearcats 5-4 in the championship game.

Members of the 2015 12U Extreme are: Jacob Caffrey, Casey Colantonio, Michael Connell, Gavin Hendron, Michael Hilgart, Mikey Kamienski, Tommy Kamienski, Trent Lawrence, Joe Losurdo, Johnny Menconi, Tyler Procajlo, and Ryan Riser.

The Extreme are managed by Mike Kamienski, who is assisted by Sean Lawrence, Rick Hendron, and Tom Kamienski.

The Cougars 10U squad was second in the eight-team Carol Stream Tournament.

Players for the the 2015 10U Cougars are:  Nolan Crowell, William Czech, Zach Despinich, Sean Garcia, Cameron Gifford, Frankie Nicosia, Ryan Procajlo, Nate Rechlin, Cody Reilly, Michael Sumner, Matt Sutter, and Matt Vezza.

The team is managed by Mark Sutter, who is assisted by Bob Gifford, Todd Vezza, and Jeff Crowell.
