Jacob ‘Jake’ Harms

ALGONAC, Mich. – Jacob “Jake” Harms, 36, of Algonac, formerly of Sterling, died suddenly Friday, May 22, 2015.

He was born Jan. 10, 1979, in Dixon, to Lawrence and Mary Jo Harms. He married Jennifer Cameron on Sept. 6, 2009, in Charlevoix, Michigan. He was an avid sports fan of the Michigan Wolverines and Chicago White Sox. He worked as a journeyman plumber.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Cameron-Harms; children, Charlie, Maeve, and Ainsley Harms; his parents, Mary Jo Harms and Lawrence Harms; sisters, Courtney Harms and Danielle (Denver) Dawson; niece, Madison Dawson; nephew, Sam Dawson; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m., with the funeral at 7:30 p.m., Friday at Young Funeral Home in China Township, Michigan.

Memorials may be made to the Jake Harms Memorial Fund at any Fifth Third Bank.
