Lombard crowns 2015 Lilac Queen

LOMBARD – The sun was shining Saturday afternoon in Lombard's Lilacia Park as the village held its annual Lilac Queen Coronation.

The coronation kicked off Lilac Time, a two-week celebration in the Lilac Village that includes concerts, heritage tours, a parade and more.

Alexandra Lyons, a senior at Glenbard East High School, was crowned this year's Lilac Queen.

Her court includes fellow Lombard high schoolers Kristina Marzullo, Erin Millett, Leslie Schmuldt and Martha Venchus.
