GENEVA – In honor of Valentine’s Day, Chef Alain Roby of the All Chocolate Kitchen in Geneva will add a new candy sculpture to his repertoire.

Made out of 948 pounds of white chocolate and sugar, “Eros” – the god of love – was sculpted for Food Network's “Outrageous Foods” program, to air Saturday, Feb. 7. The completed statue was unveiled on Jan. 26, according to a press release.

To honor the occasion, All Chocolate Kitchen will host a viewing party at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, for the Food Network segment. During the event, guests can catch a behind-the-scenes look at the making of “Eros," and take pictures with Roby and his newest chocolate creation.

"Eros" will join the pastry chef's other chocolate creations, including a 23-foot-tall chocolate tree made out of Dark Belgian Chocolate for Valentine’s Day in 2012; a 700-pound sculpture of Neil Armstrong in an astronaut suit, created out of white chocolate for the Adler Planetarium; and a life-size, 650-pound, white chocolate Blackhawks player, which was presented to NHL player Eddie Olczyk at the Blackhawks’ celebration of the 2010 Stanley Cup.

All Chocolate Kitchen is located at 33 S. Third St. in Geneva.
