LEMONT – Retired professional cyclist Christian Vande Velde has put his five-bedroom, 8,000-square-foot ranch-style house in Lemont on the market.

The house, located in a private property called Six Acres off of Archer Avenue, is being sold by Realty Executives Elite of Lemont at an asking price of $950,000.

Vande Velde competed in the Tour de France as a member of the US Postal Cycling Team.

In 2013, he admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs during his career.
