Domestic battery

Gerald M. Kanu, 29, 382 Pennsylvania Ave., was charged at 5:46 a.m. Dec. 29 with domestic battery in the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

DUI

• William A. Pecina, 18, 230 May Ave., was charged at 12:33 a.m. Dec. 28 with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding at Riford Road and Meredith Place.

• Kurtis D. Erdman, 28, 15060 W. Ray St., Grand Haven, Mich., was charged at 2:39 p.m. Dec. 28 with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol content above 0.08, improper lane use and driving without a license at Hill Avenue and Miller Court.

• Jonathan E. Halcomb, 45, 1717 Madera Drive, Wheaton, was charged at 4:52 a.m. Dec. 31 with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol content above 0.08, operating an uninsured vehicle, improper lane use and improper registration at Main Street and Turner Avenue.

• James W. Ozog, 61, 485 Montclair Ave., was charged at 2:40 a.m. Jan. 1 with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and disobeying a traffic signal at Main and Elm streets. The DUI charge was dropped.

• William C. Oniones, 51, 21W573 Mayfield Court, was charged at 5:20 p.m. Jan. 1 with driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle and speeding at Route 53 and Pershing Avenue.

• Victor Serafin-Salmeron, 24, 421 N. Main St., was charged at 3:17 a.m. Jan. 2 with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use, disobeying a traffic signal and transporting an open liquor container at Main Street and Revere Road.

Burglary

An Amazon Kindle with an estimated value of $200 was stolen between 5 and 6 p.m. Dec. 29 from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of Ellyn Avenue.

Theft

• A wallet and iPhone were reported missing between 5 and 6 p.m. Dec. 28 at Jimmy John’s, 850 Roosevelt Road. Both were later recovered, and $150 was missing from the wallet.

• Cord M. Ferguson, 19, 514 Carlton Ave., was charged at 3:33 p.m. Dec. 31 with retail theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of alcohol by a minor at Jewel Osco, 599 Roosevelt Road.

• Jesus A. Enriquez, 19, 230 Duane St., was charged at 2:36 p.m. Jan. 2 with theft and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 200 block of Duane Street.

Property damage

A locked temporary ice rink was entered and skated on, and $2,000 in damage was done to the rink’s tarp, at 6 p.m. Jan. 2 at Newton Park, 707 Fairview Ave.

Trespassing

James G. Porter, 47, 625 St. Charles Road, was charged at 6:15 a.m. Dec. 28 with trespassing in the 600 block of St. Charles Road.

Marijuana possession

Zdravko B. Trisic, 20, 0N120 Calvin Court, Winfield, was charged at 10:08 p.m. Dec. 30 with possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 400 block of Kenilworth Avenue.

Public intoxication

Kevin K. Kral, 49, 703 W. Liberty Drive, Wheaton, was charged at 4:10 p.m. Jan. 3 with public intoxication at 674 Roosevelt Road.

No license

• Asuncion Barrios, 50, 703 W. Liberty Drive, Wheaton, was charged at 6:45 p.m. Dec. 28 with driving without a license, operating an uninsured vehicle and disobeying a stop sign at Park Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue.

• Jose J. Melendez, 45, 170 S. Lincoln Ave., Addison, was charged at 9:53 a.m. Dec. 29 with driving without a license and operating an uninsured vehicle at St. Charles and Bloomingdale roads.

License suspension

Michael A. Batts, 28, 33 Briar St., was charged at 12:35 a.m. Dec. 30 with driving while license suspended, improper turn and disobeying a traffic signal at Roosevelt Road and Park Boulevard.

Uninsured vehicle

Robert P. Ehrenhaft, 29, 107 N. Pierce Ave., Wheaton, was charged at 12:44 p.m. Dec. 29 with operating an uninsured vehicle and operating a vehicle with suspended registration at Park Boulevard and Roosevelt Road.
