Why are you seeking Civic Betterment Party nomination for library trustee?

I am seeking nomination for library trustee because I believe the Glen Ellyn Public Library is a valuable and essential resource for our community. I would like to commit my time and talents toward ensuring it continues to serve Glen Ellyn in the best way possible.

If elected, what will be your top priority for the library?

My top priority would be effective stewardship of resources to ensure the Glen Ellyn Public Library continues to be a valuable community asset. Recently, the library has been redesigned to address societal and technological changes. The board will need to monitor this transformation to make sure the library is meeting the needs of the patrons and to plan for ongoing improvements.

What qualifies you to serve on the Glen Ellyn Public Library Board of Trustees?

I have been a steady library patron for 14 years. I want to see it be the best it can be. In addition, I have been actively involved in many other civic activities including Ben Franklin PTA, District 41 parent committees and Bridge Communities Auxiliary Board (Bridge Builders). I am experienced in working effectively with committees to get things accomplished. Lastly, my educational and professional backgrounds provide me with the foundation to monitor and evaluate the library and plan effectively for its future.
