ROCK FALLS – Betty J. Leland, 79, of Rock Falls, died Sunday, July 13, 2014, at her home.
She was born Sept. 28, 1934, in Hartselle, Alabama, the daughter of O.B. and Cora (Mashburn) Graham. She married William Allen Leland on April 24, 1965, in Sterling. He died May 6, 1978. Betty worked for about 12 years at Steel Ball in Sterling.
Surviving are her daughter, Debra J. (Richard) Seeley of Rock Falls; four grandchildren, Brian Matthews, Scott Matthews, Brandy Buyers, and Karlie Seeley; and several great-grandchildren.
Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no services. McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory in Rock Falls is handling arrangements.
