Burglary
• A suspect was reported to have stolen two iPads, a DVD player and $261.59 at 1 p.m. Feb. 3 in the 700 block of West Forest Avenue.
• A silver Hewlett Packard laptop and Sophix 7-inch tablet were reported stolen from an apartment at 4 p.m. Feb. 5 in the 500 block of Fremont Street.
• A GPS and $25 were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 4 a.m. Feb. 6 in the 2300 block of Fairchild Lane.
Theft
• Adolfo Heredia, 18, 813 Main St., was charged with retail theft shoplifting at 9:53 a.m. Feb. 5 in the 200 block of West North Avenue.
• Jose Perez, 54, 28W665 Bolles Ave., was charged with retail theft shoplifting at 7:05 p.m. Feb. 5 in the 200 block of West North Avenue.
• A business’ loss prevention department reported missing power tools and dog collars at 7:35 p.m. Feb. 7 in the 200 block of West North Avenue.
• A Comcast cable box was reported missing from a facility at 12:15 p.m. Feb. 8 in the 100 block of Fremont Street.
DUI
• Gustavo Montoya-Garcia, 21, 30W267 Pomeroy St., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI above the legal limit, driving too fast for conditions, improper lane use and a sign violation at 3:22 a.m. Feb. 2 at Sherman and West Pomeroy streets.
• Cristobal Garcia-Romero, 46, 1236 Kings Cross was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI above the legal limit, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and improper lane use at 2:32 a.m. Feb. 3 at Charlestowne Drive and Tara Lane.
Possession
A possession of a controlled substance incident was reported at 4:35 p.m. Feb. 6 in the 1200 block of Bishop Street.
Domestic battery
• Maria Garcia, 35, 1228 S. Kings Circle was charged with domestic battery at 7 p.m. Feb. 6 in the 1700 block of Western Avenue.
• Jarvis Wilder, 26, 700 W. Forest Ave., was charged with domestic battery at 9:19 p.m. Feb. 5 at his home.
Assault
A business owner reported a former employee harassed him at 1 p.m. Feb. 5 in the 200 block of West Roosevelt Road.
Criminal damage
The rear window of a vehicle was reported broken at 7:30 a.m. Feb. 6 in the 100 block of East Geneva Street.
Criminal defacement
• Graffiti was reported found on a fence at 10 p.m. Feb. 3 in the 1100 block of Barber Street.
• Graffiti was reported found on a fence at the side of a
property at 10 p.m. Feb. 3 in the 200 block of Glen Avenue.
Criminal trespass
A criminal trespass to vehicle incident was reported at 3:54 a.m. Feb. 6 in the 2300 block of Fairchild Lane.
Identity theft
An identity theft incident was reported at noon Feb. 7 in the 200 block of Parker Street.
Resisting an officer
Ryan Williams, 18, 400 E. Blair St. was charged with resisting or obstructing an officer at 1:37 p.m. Feb. 5 at his home. Williams also had an in-state warrant at the time the incident occurred.
Sex offender registration
A sex offender registered at 1:51 p.m. Feb. 4 in the 100 block of South Aurora Street.
Traffic violations
• Edson Campos, 20, 764 Sherman St., Aurora was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and speeding at 10:30 p.m. Feb. 2 at Washington Street and Ridgeland Avenue.
• Azucena Gonzalez, 40, 1125 Blakely St. was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license and an equipment violation at 7:44 a.m. Feb. 3 at Joliet and Brown streets.
• Delia Corona, 34, 511 Lyman Ave. was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license and traffic other at 9:19 a.m. Feb. 8 at Joliet and Lester streets.
• David Garcia, 51, 1225 Kings Court was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and for having only one light at 8:19 p.m. Feb. 8 at Center and Main streets. Garcia also had an in-state warrant at the time the incident occurred.
