WESTERN SPRINGS – Pharmacies at 11 Chicago-area Dominick’s will remain open during their transition to Mariano’s grocery stores.
Milwaukee-based Roundy’s, which purchased the 11 locations Dec. 2, said the pharmacies will stay open as the company remodels the buildings to open as Mariano’s stores in early 2014.
“There will be informational signage posted at each location, as wells a concierge at the entrance of each store to direct customers to the pharmacy location,” Roundy’s CEO Robert Mariano said in a release.
As part of the transition, Mariano’s will open locations at 14 Garden Market St. in Western Springs and at 3020 S. Wolf Road in Westchester.
